ADDITIONAL PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Diversity Weekend takes place over CWRU's Admitted Student Open House April 9-10. These open houses are arranged conference style, meaning students and parents will have multiple programs and events from which to select throughout the scheduled program.

  • Students and families have sessions scheduled throughout the day corresponding to class times. Sessions include academic sessions led by our world-class faculty, tours of many of our lab spaces and libraries, tours of campus and our residence halls and information on admission and financial aid. You can view a sample agenda online [PDF] before the event to get an idea of the variety of topics covered./

  • Additionally, students will have the option to sit in on classes when they are in session. You can review a list of the classes taught each day using our online class visit listPlease note: In order to minimize class disruptions, we request that only prospective students sit in on classes.

A complete schedule, including session locations, will be available at the program's check-in location. We will also email an agenda including parking information to registrants shortly before the start of the program. While you are free to arrive at any time, we encourage students and families to arrive by early afternoon to maximize their time on campus.

Optional Overnight: Admitted students have the option of spending the night on campus with a current Case Western Reserve University student. This optional overnight experience allows students to get an inside look at Case Western Reserve life. Please note: overnights may not be available to students who register less than 72 hours in advance of the start of the program.

Parent Reception: Parents of students staying overnight are invited to a parents-only late-afternoon reception with university faculty and staff.

Wear your comfy shoes: During our Open House programs, sessions and classes will be held in many locations throughout our 155-acre campus. We'll equip you with a campus map and plenty of friendly admission counselors and tour guides to help direct you, but we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and dressing appropriately for the spring weather in Cleveland. If you will require assistance getting around campus, please email us at visit@case.edu so we can make additional arrangements.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
