In-Person Theater Scholarship Weekend

In-Person Theater Scholarship Weekend will offer prospective performers, directors, playwrights, designers, technicians and stage managers a chance to compete for full- and partial-tuition scholarships by auditioning, presenting a design/management portfolio or submitting a play they have written.

The In-Person weekend will kick off on the night of Friday, February 21, with a meet and greet with CWRU faculty and students, followed by a workshop with theater faculty, as well as a tour of our brand new theater, The Milton and Tamar Maltz Performing Arts Center. On Saturday, February 22, students will audition and interview for the scholarships in the morning, participate in a Q&A with CWRU theater students on Saturday afternoon and attend the CWRU Dept. of Theater production of Men in Boats on Saturday evening, as well as a performance by IMPROVment, CWRU’s student improv troupe.
