Self-Guided Tours

Self-guided tours are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registered visitors may arrive and depart campus at their leisure during that time frame on their registered visit day.

Self-guided tours allow prospective Case Western Reserve University students and their families to see our campus safely and at their own pace using a GPS-enabled interactive map. With location services enabled on a personal mobile device, visitors can follow along the described route and, upon approaching each stop, the map will launch into descriptive audio and images about the location. The tour route will cover CWRU's main academic buildings, residential facilities and points of interest in our neighborhood and will be entirely outdoors.

CWRU will not supply any technology. A personal device with access to a data plan or wifi is required.

In accordance with COVID-19 protocols, we will not be able to offer other programming with your self-guided tour. During their time on campus, visitors will not be able to meet with or have a tour led by CWRU admission staff or student tour guides. Visitors are not permitted inside campus buildings.

Registration is required, and we cannot allow unregistered campus visitors at this time. Each student may bring no more than three guests.

We will continue to offer a full slate of virtual events to learn even more. Registration for online-only sessions is separate.

Upon registering, students and their guests will need to confirm they will abide by CWRU COVID-19 precautions, including wearing masks and practicing physical distancing at all times on campus and limiting their group to no more than three guests per admitted student (four people total). The registration form includes all details. Learn more about CWRU's COVID-19 response.
